spring has sprung

aside from the slight chill in the early morning hours, its certain that spring is here with a vengeance, the grape vine is spreading and green and glorious and what passes for grass in my yard is green and poky as ever, but the surest sign for my little family is when it affects me, as it does every year, when the spring cleaning gene kicks in and the bleach comes out and the wood work gets washed and the windows begin to get clearer, the curtains come down and get washed and blankets are hung out to freshen.
My projects are spread all over the house, the sewing machine in constant use, the kitchen has been thoroughly scrubbed out and the windows flung open.
this is my time of year. the spiders are on the run.
